DIY PV solar cells are also known as doing it your self photovoltaic solar panels. The word PV comes from photovoltaic and that comes from the Greek word for light which is “photo” and the person who invented the battery in 1800 “Volta”.

There are many benefits to using DIY PV solar cells besides the money you’ll save from buying already made panels.
